Our goals in the Aviator design are to offer maximum comfort for long flights and a unique appearance that enhances the look of the interior. You can personalize your seats with your choice of leather and cloth colors, insert designs, and optional embroidery.
Although it shares several design features with our Sportsman seats, the Aviator is a completely new design. The shape is different to provide even greater comfort. More Confor foam is used in the seat cushion and backrest. Both cushions are relatively thin in the center areas to allow maximum head and leg room; however, generous side bolsters provide the needed support and give the seat a thick luxurious look.
A unique lumbar adjustment system provides a customized fit, a custom made aluminum frame is concealed inside the upholstery. This frame replaces the stock frame, but installs using the same piano hinge on the floor.
Additional items available are: Matching stick boot assemblies, booster cushions, seat embroidery and built-in headrests.

All Visco Elastic Foam - $340
Our Aviator seats are normally made using a combination of flexible urethane foam and visco elastic foam (sometimes called memory foam). With this option, all parts are made out of visco elastic foam. Customers selecting this option are mainly looking for an increase in impact protection. There won't be a noticeable difference in seat comfort. Also, this option adds about 2.8 lbs. for a pair of seats.

Headrests - $412
The headrest option has pros and cons. It is very useful when a passenger wants to lean back and rest on a long cross country. This is the main reason customers choose headrests. On the other hand, it does restrict access to the baggage area during flight (access is more restricted on a tip-up). The headrests are not removable. The reason for this is to reduce weight. The structure needs to be very strong to support the weight of occupants as they enter and exit the plane, and of course we want to keep the overall seat weight as low as possible.
