Our upholstered armrests provide a padded surface to rest your elbow on, and are available in your choice of materials.
Installation consists of drilling 3 holes in the existing armrest structure, and installing #8 machine screws up through the bottom. Each armrest has threaded inserts in the base to accept the screws.
Note: Our armrests are made 3 inches shorter than the existing armrest structure in the airplane. The reason for this is that it is very common for customers to mount headset jacks in this area. The shortened armrest accommodates this. In order to keep the cost of the armrests lower, we make all armrests this way. This area is almost completely hidden from view by the seat, and it is not possible to rest your elbow that far back. The parts used in our armrest are cut out with CNC equipment, and it would require us to stock twice the number of parts if we had two versions.
